Meet the Speaker: Karina Battaglia from Microsoft

2 minute read

Sales leaders from some of the world’s best-known companies will share their success stories at our Future of SalesTech Conference on the 9th of March. Taking place at The Brewery in London, the event will address the expectations of the ‘modern customer’ and what organisations should do to keep pace.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce one of our distinguished speakers: Karina Battaglia, Sales and Marketing Enablement Lead at Microsoft. Karina’s job currently entails leading strategic connected marketing and sales enablement initiatives at the corporation’s Western Europe HQ. With an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, Karina gains support from a variety of stakeholders, builds consensus and drives results.

Having 15 years of experience in field and HQ roles, Karina has amassed extensive knowledge in marketing, sales and customer success. Moreover, she has a track record of building high-impact initiatives that scale and last beyond her tenure.

HOW MICROSOFT TRANSFORMS SALES AND MARKETING HABITS

At Microsoft, B2B Sellers interact with hundreds of software buyers each year. Customers’ expectations are increasingly high, and it is not always easy to assess their needs, especially as the number of decision makers and buyer influencers increases. Karina will address this challenge and reveal how Microsoft is enabling its sellers to embrace new ways of selling.

In her presentation, Karina will explore why the ways that served sellers well in the past are not as relevant in today’s world. Taking this further, she will discuss change management strategies and how to generate a true desire for change instead of asking people to attend long training sessions.

Lastly, Karina will review the lessons that the tech-giant learned while transforming the habits of its sales organisation to help attendees drive change in their own teams.
